At Good Good English, we take seriously the English ability that school and exams require — but we don’t reduce English to just exams.
We want students to genuinely understand what they read, express ideas in writing, and take part in discussion. When English becomes a real ability, students can approach schoolwork and exams with greater confidence.

What Happens in Class?
Discussion, expressing opinions, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar —
paired with projects and presentations grounded in real situations,
so students practice more than getting the answer right; they practice genuinely expressing their own ideas.
Strong English Ability Supports School and Exams, Too.
We focus on steady development in vocabulary, reading, writing, and grammar, with ongoing review and teacher feedback to support real progress.
The stronger a student’s English foundation, the better prepared they are for the English required in schoolwork and 會考.
But our program doesn’t reduce English to repeated drilling and mock exams.

Grade & Level
Junior High English is designed for students in grades 7 through 9 (國一–國三).
We place each student according to both grade and English ability, so everyone can keep progressing at a level that’s right for them.

Class Format
Classes are small-group, generally up to about 12 students, so teachers can genuinely track each student’s progress.

Teachers guide and correct English appropriately, while still maintaining academic structure and expectations.

Does this program help with school English and exams?
Yes. We develop the vocabulary, reading, writing, and grammar skills needed for school and exams. These strong foundations also help students approach schoolwork and exams better prepared.
Do you prepare students for 會考?
We support the English ability that school and exams require, but the program isn’t designed around 會考 drilling — we want students to build real English ability, with academic performance as a natural result.
What if my child’s level is behind or ahead of their grade?
That’s not a problem — we place students according to their actual English ability, not just their grade level.
Is the class taught entirely in English?
English is the main language used in class. Teachers adjust their pace, vocabulary, and approach to each student’s level, so they can understand, participate, and gradually grow comfortable thinking and expressing themselves in English.
What if my teenager doesn’t like speaking English?
That’s completely natural. Through discussion and guidance, our classes help students build the habit and confidence to speak up in an environment where mistakes are okay.
Is there homework?
We provide an appropriate amount of practice material depending on the class and level. Please reach out to us for specific details.
How is level placement determined?
We assess a student’s current English ability and learning needs to help place them in the most suitable class, and a trial class is a great way to observe and confirm the right fit.
